Megastar Amitabh Bachchan takes a look test for ‘Brahmastra’ and the movie to roll on from next month!

After a long time, any Bollywood filmmaker is making a fantasy drama film on an extravaganza budget. We are talking about Ayan Mukherji ’s ‘ Brahmastra ’, which will be bankrolled by Karan Johar and the budget is expected to be around 150-200 crores. The movie stars some of the biggest celebrities like Ranbir Kapoor , Alia Bhatt and megastar, Amitabh Bachchan . Though all these three actors are busy with their other on-going projects, Big B and Ranbir took a look test yesterday and Senior Bachchan revealed that film will go on floors from next month. He shared about the look test on Instagram, captioning, “Ranbir Kapoor, Ayan and yours truly at look test for BRAHMASTRA .. cool .. shoot starts next month .. with Alia too .. a joy to be with this incredible young generation..”

When a leading daily asked Ranbir about Brahmastra , the actor had said, "Well, it’s not really a superhero film because the word ‘superhero’ comes with a preconceived notion about it. The film is, as Ayan puts it, ‘a magical romantic fairy tale set in contemporary times.’ It’s got a great cast too with Alia Bhatt and Amitji (Amitabh Bachchan) in the film. Other superb actors are also being cast in it. It’s a film that has been written in a trilogy format so there will be three parts, which Ayan will make over a period of eight years. It’s also very exciting and risky at the same time because it’s something that has never been tried before."

Apart from these biggies, the film also stars television beauty, Mouni Roy , the talented Divyendu Sharma and veteran, Deepak Tijori .
