Bollywood's talented actor actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has garnered immense praises for his stellar performances in the films. After playing a variety of roles, Nawazuddin is all set to essay the role of a dacoit in his next. Going by the report, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been roped in by a London-based production house Beautiful Bay Entertainment for portraying the role of Sultana Daku, a dreaded dacoit for an upcoming film.
The movie is based on Sujit Saraf's book revolves around the life of a dacoit and it is set in pre-independence era. Heeraz Marfatia will direct this project and talking about Nawazuddin's role, he said "Nawaz has lived and dream stories of Sultana Daku since he was a child. In a way, he has been preparing to play this character his entire life without even knowing it,"
Nawazuddin is enthusiastic for playing this role of Sultana Daku and the actor stated "Kids today have super heroes they look up to and Sultana was a super hero to me. On dark winter nights when my family would be snug under a warm 'razai' (rug), with candle being the only source of light and the threat of modern dacoits in my village, Sultana would come to life in my father's stories as the real Daku," He further added "Unlike these criminals who terrorised us, Sultana always took a stand,"
The shooting of this venture will happen in real locations in the next year, reportedly.
