2017 has not been a great year for Bollywood with movies starring some of the biggest superstars of the country failing left, right and the centre. Keeping in mind the heavy losses big films have incurred for the producers, many filmmakers are now trying to avoid clashes to ensure that no biggie eats into each other's business. Recently, we had reported about John Abraham shifting the release date of his upcoming film Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran to provide a clear and long window to Sanjay Leela Bhansali 's magnum opus Padmavati . Starring Deepika Padukone , Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in lead roles, the film releases on 1st December while John's movie was slated to release on 8th December. Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted Padmavati to have a long run at the box office, so he requested John to push forward his film. John agreed and shifted the release date of Parmanu despite locking the date much in advance. Now, reports are coming in that Parmanu will hit screens on 23rd February to clash with Hichki .

Parmanu Poster & Rani Mukerji's Look From Hichki

Produced by Yash Raj Films , Hichki marks the comeback of seasoned actress Rani Mukerji to films post pregnancy. Her fans are waiting for the film with bated breath. While Hichki was all set to be a solo release on 23rd February 2018, now it will have to face competition from John Abraham 's Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran as the release date of the film has been pushed forward to 23rd February from 8th December. Talking about the clash with Hichki , Parmanu's producer Prernaa Arora said that sometimes two good films can come together. Since both the films are different, the clash shouldn’t really matter.

We just wish that both the films do not affect each other at the box office.
