Perfectionist Bidita Bag insisted retakes for intimate scenes with Nawazuddin Siddiqui

Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Bidita Bag ’s upcoming film Babumoshai Bandookbaaz has become the talk of the town for multiple reasons. One of which being the steaming and sizzling chemistry they share. The film has been rendered an A certificate from the censor board for its violence and intimate quotient. Now, the latest update reveals that it was the newbie actress Bidita Bag who insisted on retakes for the intimate scenes so as to make them look authentic and true to her character.

In a recent media interaction with a leading daily, the actress reveals the reason why she wanted the scenes to come out well. She says she has gotten the opportunity to work with Nawazuddin and hence wants to deliver only the best. It’s her debut film but, the lady is very confident and poised about the entire build up. She regards Nawaz as the perfectionist and surely matched him in the film.

Bidita stated, “Phulwa, my character in the film is very unusual. The first few takes were looking innocent, cute and lovey-dovey. The boldness, the rawness, her (character’s) overpowering personality, and her passion was not coming across. So, I insisted on retakes to bring about that rawness of the character. Also, I was cast opposite Nawazuddin, a perfectionist. While kissing for the camera, two people shouldn’t just pretend that they are kissing each other. A kiss should be true to the characters they are playing, and the passion they share.”

Babumoshai Bandookbaaz also stars Jatin Goswami, Shraddha Das, Anil George, Bhagwan Tiwari, Jeetu Shivhare, Murli Sharma, Divya Dutta and Sachin Chaubey among others. This Kaushan Nandy ’s directorial is a dark, action drama with a thriller undertone. It is set to release on August 25, 2017!
