The girl knows how to make a perfect move, always. Priyanka Chopra recently unveiled the first look poster of her Sikkimese film Pahuna at Cannes film festivals and, it looks so fresh and lively. This Sikkimese venture is directed by Paakhi A Tyrewala and the film is produced under Priyanka’s Home production house Purple Pebble Pictures. Although, the teaser for this film is yet to be released but the poster itself is making the waves and making masses to take the regional film seriously.
It’s a bold movie for anyone who wished to produce would incline to make films that would not only earn back investment but great revenue. But Priyanka Chopra makes her bold movie, and purposefully chose regional cinema to produce than mainstream cinema. It is not the first time for PC!
Her Production house produced a Bhojpuri film Mokama 0km and Panjabi film Sarvann. The Marathi film, Ventilator, made a huge wave on national film award podium and won the best direction, editing, and sound engineering. It was also most successful at the box office. And not she continues to promote regional talent, which could have otherwise been unheard.
The film, Pahuna, is a tale about three Nepali kids who fell apart from their parents in the midst of fleeing the Maoist agitation from Nepal.
