B-Town stars often go out of their way to play their role convincingly in the films. In last 28 days, the actor Randeep Hooda has lost 18 kilos for upcoming Sarabjit Singh's biopic. Randeep Hooda unveiled his shocking look for Omung Kumar 's ' Sarbjit '. Randeep, who loves alu ki sabzi and choorma, went on a starvation diet, which was closely supervised by his doctor and his sister.
Talking about this, the National Award winning filmmaker Omung Kumar said "He cut down on his meals, filling up on coffee and water, even when we were shooting in Palghar and gorging on some great food. In his years in jail, Sarabjit was kept in a 4 x 4 room and had rat bites all over him. The first time I met Randeep, I told him that I wanted to see his bones. He took up the challenge and shocked even me,".
After this shocking transformation, when Randeep arrived on the sets, he was unnoticed. Kumar said "It was only when I called for him that I realised he was sitting right there,"
' Sarbjit ' also features Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in a pivotal role.
