Actor Ranveer Singh who is a brand ambassador for Ching's Secret has now taken up the Akshaya Patra Mid-day Meal programme in a global fund-raising drive initiated by Chings and YRF. The Bollywood heartthrob has willingly supported the programme with full heart. He champions 'India Ke Hunger Ki Bajao' campaign and to trigger the initiative he has personally Sponsored 10,000 Kid's mid-day meal for a year.
The Akshaya Patra Foundation runs the world largest NGO for Mid-day Meal programme in association with the Central and State Governments. In the media interaction, Ranveer stated that he is extremely happy to spread love and happiness. Nothing is better than feeding and educating a child. He further added that he love kids and feels specially for underprivileged kids. Hope this awesome initiative proves to be beneficial and drive in funds for the kids.
