Bollywood and rain goes hand in hand. Whether it's romancing or mourning, the pour has always worked well to emote with the audience. Director Shaad Ali wanted to use this same old formula to shoot a scene of his upcoming film ' Kill Dil ', but then came the creative-minded actor Ranveer Singh with his out of the track idea which gave Bollywood its first ever hail storm sequence.

As per the sources, Ranveer felt the hail sequence will be apt for that particular scene and also the audience has never really seen hail gliding down in Bollywood films. Shaad liked this idea and instantly gave his approval for it. Then the preparations begin to bring it in picture, for which the team took 20 days to create that fake hail.

Meanwhile, when that particular sequence was getting filmed Ranveer faced difficulties in saying his dialogues as the hail stones were continuously falling on his head and interrupting him. But, he didn't stop and gave several retakes to bring Bollywood's first-ever hail sequence on screen.
