Salman Khan says rumours of him no longer being part of Karan Johar collaboration baseless!
Rubbishing all rumours, Salman Khan announces that he is very much a part of the collaboration with Karan Johar for a film starring Akshay Kumar.
Not long ago rumours were floating around that Salman Khan has decided to bow out of the project which he had announced with filmmaker Karan Johar with much fanfare. Reports claimed that after the dismal performance of his last release Tubelight at the box office, Bhai wants to invest wisely in projects. He is not in any hurry and wants to take it easy on the production front and hence he opted out of the collaboration with Johar for an upcoming film which is said to be based on Battle of Saragarhi. However, Khan has refuted all these rumours in his own style.
Salman Khan took to Twitter and wrote on his handle, "Don't follow rumors . follow me . ek baar jo maine commitment kar di toh phir...... vry much doing film with @akshaykumar,"
The untitled project is said to be made on a lavish budget and stars Akshay Kumar as the main lead. Other details about cast and crew are still under wrap. Rumours claimed that Salman walked out of the big budget project because Ajay Devgn too was making a film on the same subject. Not just that, filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi is also making a movie on the same subject, reportedly.
