According to reports, Shah Rukh Khan may star in the Hindi remake of the hit Tamil film Vikram Vedha along with producing it under his banner.
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who once ruled the box office with back to back hits, is in a dire need of a successful film as most of his recent releases like Jab Harry Met Sejal and Fan failed to make a mark at the box office. The actor is currently shooting for Aanand L Rai’s upcoming untitled film with Katrina Kaif, wherein he plays a dwarf. The subject of the film has intrigued the audience and now everyone is waiting for the release of the movie which will come out next year. The latest news related to the actor is that he is in talks to star in the Hindi remake of the successful Tamil film Vikram Vedha.
Originally featuring R. Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles, the film hit screens in the beginning of the year and turned out to be a massive hit at the box office. And now, speculations about its Hindi remake are doing the rounds at full throttle. Reportedly, the actor will also produce the film along with heading the cast. However, the makers of the original Tamil film has said that they have yet not sold the remake rights of the film to anyone, but they are interested in seeing the Hindi remake of the film. They want to produce the Hindi version of the film, too. We will have to wait until an official announcement is made.
