Shoojit Sircar might make a movie on exam pressure!
After delivering back to back content-driven movies, Shoojit Sircar is now keen to make a movie on students and exam pressure.

Filmmaker Shoojit Sircar is one such director who makes content-driven movies which are equally entertaining. In the past, he has delivered movies like Vicky Donor , Madras Cafe and Piku and now, he is keen to make a film that deals with students and exam pressure. "Yes, I will definitely look into this in the future," Sircar, who is associated with the second edition of the 'Release The Pressure' campaign, told IANS.
Commenting on education stress, he said one of the key reasons is the tendency to make comparisons, which causes depression among children. "It disturbs them mentally and lowers their confidence... (Yet) it is rampant in society, and parents do these things (without) realising how it affects the children," said the filmmaker.
Looking at Sircar’s filmography, we can assure that he can possibly make the best film based on such issue. In the past, he made ‘ Vicky Donor ’ which deals with the unspoken topic of sperm donation and won a National Film Award for the same.
Apart from this, he is busy with his upcoming film ‘ October ’ that stars Varun Dhawan and newcomer Banita Sandhu and it is slated to release on 13th April 2018.
