Kangana Ranaut ’s upcoming film Simran looks a really promising one. It is a story about a 30-year-old divorcee Gujarati girl named Praful Patel. She is everything from quirky, weird but adorable at the same time. Director Hansal Mehta and the film team have been promoting the movie rightly. The trailer has been receiving praises and so are the posters. The songs are already a hit, ‘Lag Ti Hai Thai’ is topping all music charts, which indeed is good news for the makers. Now, the team has launched yet another song refreshing song titled Single Rehne De!
Single Rehne De features Kangana at her weird best. She is trying to convince her father to let her be single. It is a quirky and funny song meant to add a dose of fun. It is comical to see the actress lip-sync Guajarti lyrics. It seems like a promotional number which will not be in the film. The song has been crooned by Shalmali Kholgade and Divya Kumar while the music has been rendered by Sachin-Jigar with Vayu’s lyrics.
More about Kangana Ranaut ’s character in the film, the actress essays a housekeeper with big dreams and ambition. She is a free-spirited girl and loves herself. As shown in the trailer, Praful has two character-flaws as she claims! She has a habit of stealing and indulging in gambling. The script is penned by Apurva Asrani and is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Shailesh Singh.
