SLB’s Padmavati faces another hurdle, disrupts shooting schedule!

Eminent filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali ’s upcoming film Padmavati has been facing a lot of obstacles and roadblocks. The team still is running strong and fiercely tackling all of it with persistence and commitment. Now, comes the latest news update that may not delight the fans who are eagerly waiting for the magnum opus. Reports suggest that the upcoming film is facing another hurdle which has disrupted its shooting schedule and slowed down the filming process.

As per the report in Midday , the ongoing Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) strike is disturbing the Padmavati schedule. 2,50,000 cine employees and workers have gone on an indefinite strike from 15 August, demanding to clear their issues pending with the producers (majorly TV producers). As the number of staff has been reduced, the shooting taking a lot longer.

A source reveals, "The production house has given Bhansali a final word that he cannot overstep the deadline, due to monetary constraints. If the technicians do not get to work soon, Padmavati will be adversely affected.” Bhansali has already witnessed two major problems one is the Jaipur attack and another one is Kolhapur set destruction incident. Now, this is the third time that the team is facing issues.

"Another 15 days of this schedule and Bhansali will miss the release date. Only a miracle can make him release the movie on that day then," adds the source. Padmavati stars Deepika Padukone , Ranveer Singh , Shahid Kapoor , and Aditi Rao Hydari in key roles. The film is scheduled to release on 17 November, 2017.
