Taapsee Pannu & Diljit Dosanjh team up for a sports biopic!
Taapsee Pannu and Diljit Dosanjh haven been roped in for a sports biopic directed by Shaad Ali.

BollywoodMDB had reported earlier about actress Chitrangada Singh ’s first production venture. The actress is joining the league of Priyanka Chopra and Anushka Sharma among others to don the producer’s hat. The lady is set to turn producer for Shaad Ali ’s next which is said to be a biopic on the life of renowned medalist hockey player Sandeep Singh who was also the former captain of the Indian Hockey Team. For the film, actors Taapsee Pannu and Diljit Dosanjh have been roped in as the lead stars.
Diljit will essay the title role of Sandeep Singh and Taapsee essays the lady who inspires the hockey champ. Both the actors play hockey players and hence will go through intense training for their roles. Diljit will personally get trained from Sandeep, as the sources reveal. The movie will be shot extensively in Punjab and along with a few other locales. The hockey player has a journey worth translating it on the big screens and with Diljit on board, things surely are set to turn exciting. The film is said to go on floors in October. The makers will make an official announcement soon.
The untitled film which is touted to be a sports biopic drama will be co-produced by Chitrangda Singh along with Sneha Rajani.
