Taapsee Pannu renders a glimpse of her character in Sandeep Singh biopic!

BollywoodMDB earlier updated our readers about Taapsee Pannu and Diljit Dosanjh ’s upcoming film which is a biopic on the life of Sandeep Singh. The film will explore the life of former Indian Hockey team captain Sandeep Singh who is a well-known name in the sports spectrum and has won several medals for the country. Diljit essays the title role while Taapsee essays the lady who inspires the hockey champ. Both the actors play hockey players and hence will go through intense training for their roles.

Recently, Taapsee shared an image on twitter where she is seen flaunting the hockey attire. The actress captioned the image as “Let’s do this .... #SandeepSinghBiopic!” Check out the image here:

In a media statement, Taapsee said that she already has a connection with hockey. She said, “I have seen pictures of my father who played hockey representing Delhi University. Never thought at that point I will ever hold a hockey stick. I have always loved sports in general but never tried hockey. It’s so coincidental that eventually when I got to play a sportsperson on screen I got to play a hockey player. I am having a great time learning the sport and I’m sure this will be one film my dad will be very keen to watch.”

The film also stars Angad Bedi in a key role. He plays the role of Sandeep’s elder brother Bikramjeet Singh. All the three actors are prepping up for their parts intensely. The untitled sports biopic drama will be co-produced by Chitrangda Singh along with Sneha Rajani. Here is a snap of Diljit and Angad Bedi practicing hockey for the film.
