The new poster of Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Raazi’ is here and the movie is just 100 days away!

Director Meghna Gulzar has brought us the unique pairing of talented duo, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal , for the first time with her movie, ‘ Raazi ’. In the movie, Alia will play a Kashmiri girl who gets married to a Pakistani army officer played by Vicky. It is based on the best-selling book by Harinder Sikka titled ‘Calling Sehmat’. Last night, Dharma Productions unveiled the new poster of the film that says the movie is just 100 days away. Their tweet read, “100 DAYS TO RAAZI and for the journey & mystery to unravel!” In the picture, Alia and Vicky are smiling as they look into each other's eyes.

As Raazi is the first ever period film in Alia’s career, speaking about the film and her role she had earlier said to a leading portal, “I think in Raazi audience will see me in completely different avatar at least that is my wish because Raazi as a film is very different. It's the first time I am doing a period film and is based on the true story as well, so I am very excited for it and I hope the audience will like it."

During an interview with a leading daily, Vicky was all praises for his co-star Alia Bhatt . He said, ‘’It was just fantastic. I have been a huge fan of Alia Bhatt's work. The first time I met her was after the screening of Udta Punjab and was blown away by her performance. When you are working on a film and your co-star is so good, it only improves your performance. It was a thrilling and exciting experience to work with such a wonderful actor.’’

Helmed by Meghna Gulzar , the film is being presented by Dharma production and Junglee Pictures and will hit the big screen on 11th May.
