The set of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati attacked and has been burnt down to ashes in Kolhapur.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali ’s Padmavati set faced attack for the second time. The huge set that was put up in Kolhapur, 15 km on the outskirts of Panhala town was burnt down to ashes. “The set is spread across nearly 50,000 square feet and a group of unidentified persons set it on fire around 1 a.m”, an official stated in a media statement.
The costumes and other essentials of shooting were damaged. Around 50 costumes of the junior artists that were made for an important scene were destroyed in the attack. The hard work of the costume department has been all burnt. The film stars Shahid Kapoor , Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in the lead.
