The shooting of Janhvi and Ishaan’s ‘Dhadak’ begins in full swing!

The shooting of one of the most anticipated movies, ‘ Dhadak ’, finally started. As it was announced weeks ago that the movie will go on floors from 1st December, the makers stood to their words and without delaying they commenced the shooting from today. A few days ago, director Shashank Khaitan uploaded the picture of the script and now the pictures from the sets are out. The makers shared two pictures from the sets. One, where we can see they did Pooja prior to the shoots and the other is with Ishaan and Janhvi holding the clapper/the slate from the actual location. Have a look at the snaps.

As we have earlier mentioned that the movie is based on the blockbuster Marathi movie ‘Sairat’, the movie has its own variations and issues to deal with. Earlier in an interview with a leading agency, Shashank had said, "The basic premise is of differences in caste, honour killing and what it means to survive in that world and I feel that is the conflict that is alive all across India, you will hear stories like that. So in that sense, the basic premise (of Dhadak and Sairat) is same. But there are variations. My story is based on another set up… It is (set) in Rajasthan. It comes with its own challenges, conflicts, and style of a love story."

Ishaan Khattar has already stepped in the world of movies with Majid Majidi ’s ‘ Beyond The Clouds ’, it will be really interesting to watch how Janhvi Kapoor performs in her debut film. Helmed by Khaitan, the movie is made under the banner of Dharma Productions and will hit the screens on 6th July 2018.
