The song Meri Pyaari Ammi: It depicts how motherly unconditional love works!

It’s been quite a while since Bollywood had given a soulful song dedicated entirely to the motherly love and makers of Secret Superstar made that wish come true! Since the first track from the album, Main Kaun Hoon received praise and appreciations from the masses and became an instant hit when it arrived. Makers have released another track from the album titled Meri Pyaari Ammi, depicting how adorable Insia’s mother is, in her own words and composition! Genuinely, the song will literally hit cords with your heart, just give it a try!

The composition of this track is kept to the niche and simple, by Amit Trivedi , by including acoustic strumming and a slight inclusion of Mandolin and Chennai stings in the song. And like the previous song, Main Kaun Hoon, Meri Pyaari Ammi was also voiced by Meghna Mishra in her soulful voice, singing like a diva. But the main highlight, apart from Meghna’s vocals, it the lyrics which was also kept simple yet describing beauty in the relationship between mother and daughter, and lyrics writer Kausar Munir pretty much nailed it in her part. Indeed, the video of this song is filled with so many cute moments, describing the framework of mothers works, how they managed to do so many things for their kids, with the smile on their face!

It seems music director Amit Trivedi chose Meghna Mishra to be default vocalist for the character of Insia, and we like it! As for the film Secret Superstar, it is directed by Advait Chandan and the and casting for this film also includes Zaira Wasim , Aamir Khan and Meher Vij and Raj Arjun as parents of Insia. The film will be scheduled to be released on Diwali on 19th Oct!
