Young star Tiger Shroff tasted success with his first film Heropanti opposite Kriti Sanon doing well at the box-office. Tiger’s next film Baaghi with Shraddha Kapoor was also a hit. But, his superhero film A Flying Jatt directed by Remo D’Souza flopped at the box-office and it was difficult for the young actor to carry that baggage.

Tiger Shroff opens up about being in Depression after the failure of A Flying Jatt!

In an exclusive interaction with a leading magazine, Tiger revealed that he went into depression after the film’s failure. He said, “I started on a high with Baaghi (2016). I was over the moon when it opened on 12 crore and did 15 crore on a Sunday. For a newcomer and for a second film, that’s pretty good. And then kept going up. But when the numbers for A Flying Jatt came in, I thought, ‘I put in so much work, why didn’t they like it?'

He further added, “A month of hard-core depression. A lot of emotional eating. When I started shooting for Munna Michael, I was still in that mindset. I didn’t have any drive. But after I finished my first schedule, I thought, ‘I can’t wait for people to see this now."

Tiger will be next seen in Sabbir Khan’s Munna Michael in which he essays a hardcore Michael Jackson fan. The movie also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
