The story of Ranchi Diaries revolves around Gudiya and her friends who hail from a small town, Ranchi and her dream of becoming a pop sensation. As the story would progress, her talent draws the unwanted attention of the local mafia kingpin Thakur Bhaiya, causing her to elope with her childhood lover Manish. To get out of this mess they eventually entwined in Gudiya and her friends plan a bank heist and further creates chaos between the goons and the cops whether Gudiya and her friends will survive, is what the Ranchi Diaries are all about!

What audience would think to see a crime drama of Bank heist, will be treated with goofy crime comedy that would tickle some funny bones! Despite cast against seasoned actors like Anupam Kher , Satish Kaushik and also Jimmy Shergill , the fresh cast of Ranchi Diaries seems promising enough to stand the course, plus desi accent in their dialogue delivery seems so flawless!
