Salman Khan’s film Tubelight to release in as many as 1200 screens in the overseas market!

There is no denying the fact that Tubelight is one of the biggest films of the year. In fact, it is the first big release after Prabhas and Rana Daggubati’s war epic Baahubali: The Conclusion inflamed the box office globally. To ensure that the Salman Khan starrer gets as wide a release as Baahubali, the makers have reportedly booked 1, 200 screens in the overseas market. This makes Tubelight the first any Khan-starrer movie to get such a massive release abroad.
Amar Butala, COO of Salman Khan Films, confirmed the news to a leading daily. The makers of Tubelight were planning a big release for the film was evident in their marketing strategy. Earlier this month, the film was in news everywhere for grabbing a billboard at the prime New York Times Square. It was kind of a message for the actor’s fans abroad that Salman is arriving soon to rule over their hearts. Two last releases of Salman Khan – Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan - have done extremely good business in the overseas market. With such a big release across 1,200 screens in the international zone, it seems, the makers want to repeat the history.
Directed by Kabir Khan , Tubelight also stars Sohail Khan and is all set to release on 23rd June, 2017.
