Varun Dhawan is away from the limelight for a while now. Ever wondered what your favourite star Varun Dhawan is up to? After the successful masala entertainer Judwaa 2 that also features Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu, Varun Dhawan has an interesting line up of films that he is working on. Although, there are a few films that the actor is in talks with but this list comprises of the confirmed films that the star is upto. October: Varun Dhawan is collaborating with director Shoojit Sircar for the first time for this film. The film is currently in its early shooting phase and the makers and the team have released the first look stills of the actor from the sets. The movie is touted to be a thriller and stars newbie actress Banita Sandhu opposite Varun. The film is scheduled to release on 13 April, 2018.

Sui Dhaaga: This is an interesting film that one can look forward to by Yash Raj Films. Varun Dhawan has been paired with Anushka Sharma for the first time and the first look teaser has been appreciated by one and all. The film is about the textile industry of India. It celebrates the Made In India initiative by the government. Directed by Sharad Kataria, Sui Dhaaga releases on 28 September, 2018.

Shiddat: This project brings back Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt together in a film. The venture also stars Aditya Roy Kapur in the lead. Directed by Abhishek Varman, the film is a Dharma Production outing. Shiddat will be set in Indo-Pak Partition era and a love triangle scenario is expected to be created between the leads. The film also stars Sridevi and Sanjay Dutt in key roles. Shiddat releases on 19 April, 2019.
