Vidya Balan’s Tumhari Sulu has a new release date!

Vidya Balan ’s upcoming film Tumari Sulu has created a huge buzz ever since the posters and the teasers are out. Vidya plays a happy-go-lucky house-wife who later turns into a late-night RJ. The teaser is fun and keeps us wanting for more. It is a happy film and a complete family entertainer. The makers had scheduled the release of the movie on December 1, however, Since Sanjay Leela Bhansali shifted the release date of the magnum opus Padmavati on the same day, Tumhari Sulu had to be shifted. Then it shifted to November 24 and even released posters of the same. But that did not seem to work out either!

The new release date of Suresh Triveni ’s directorial Tumhari Sulu is November 17, 2017.

In the film, as per the buzz, Vidya will be recreating Mr. India's popular song Hawa Hawai. Suresh Triveni spoke about it to leading tabloid saying, "Music plays an important role in our film as it is set in the world of radio. The song isn't just a promotional track. It appears at an important point in the story."

Talking about the film, the director said, "Middle-class housewives have been portrayed as hassled and troubled in Hindi films, but I'm a huge Hrishikesh Mukherjee fan and he showed that even middle-class families can be happy. I want the audience to walk out with a big smile on their face."

The film Tumhari Sulu is a slice-of-life comedy-drama that also stars Manav Kaul who plays Vidya’s husband and Neha Dhupia who essays Vidya’s boss. It is directed by noted ad filmmaker Suresh Triveni and produced under the banners of T-Series and Ellipsis Entertainment. It releases on November 17!
