Vidya Balan to represent Bollywood in Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM)
A thirteen-day film festival, showcasing over 60 films and Vidya Balan will be flaunting her style quotient at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne!

It is something that Bollywood actreses seem to have aced it! So be it Cannes, or Shanghai or wherever it would be, our Bollywood celebs do know how to represent fraternity and yet make a style statement. Hence for the prestigious Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) Vidya Balan been chosen as an ambassador to represent Bollywood in overseas! And this time also, Vidya has many reasons to be excited!
To explain her zest for the festival, Vidya says, “I am excited by the work of female directors and writers who have their work showing at the festival. Over the past few years, a new generation of Indian filmmakers has begun to shine on the global stage,” in further statement she also appreciated film industry for supporting women empowering, and she says “To see women behind the camera and creating powerful pieces of art is reflective of the positive steps that the film industry in India and the subcontinent is taking.”
About IFFM, it is a film festival that keeps cultural vibrancy as featuring some of the best collection of the films from every film industry, besides diversity. In this film festival, they would showcase over 60 films, Indie films which are gems for any filmgoer and also short films included in 20 different languages, India will include 30 Australian premieres. These thirteen days long festival also features most of the blockbusters to those who are addicted to Bollywood Masala films.
