When Shahrukh Khan paid Ranbir Kapoor 5000 Rupees!

Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer remained untitled for longest duration. During this time, series of names were surfacing in media, but makers remained silent about it. And finally, when the film was nearing its release, Shah Rukh announced its title Jab Harry Met Sejal by releasing its first look with a disclaimer note that read:

Just in case Ranbir Kapoor ever claims it…the title Jab Harry met Sejal was never ever suggested by him!So he doesn’t win the Rs.5000 reward

But then Ranbir being Ranbir made it a point to claim his 5000 Rupees for suggesting the title. After a lot of denials, SRK has also paid him in cash sending out the official post on social media as a proof. His recent post read, “Jagga Jasoos we r quits now!!! Hisaab barabar. Give @karanjohar his share for the ‘Jab’ part in JHMS please.”

Even though many claim, SRK’s film title to be copied from Hollywood film When Harry Met Sally. Here’s a proof that it has been originated from Ranbir’s mind with a slight correction done by Karan Johar. So talking about Karan’s share in those 5000 bugs, then it's 1,250 rupees for just adding the word “Jab” in the title. We wonder where they meet to do such brainstorming!

Directed by Imtiaz Ali, film Jab Harry Met Sejal is said to be a love story of a Punjabi boy and Gujarati girl. The plot of this film is based on Rumi’s famous lines “What you seek, is seeking you”. It will be releasing on 4th August 2017.
