Yaariyan actress roped in to romance Siddharth Malhotra in Aiyaary!
Yaariyan fame Rakul Preet Singh cast to play Siddharth Malhotra’s love interest in Neeraj Pandey’s film Aiyaari.

Actor Siddharth Malhotra has finally found his leading lady for his upcoming film Aiyaary . After a long casting process, the makers have finally zeroed in on the gorgeous actress Rakul Preet Singh to play Siddharth’s love interest in the army espionage. Rakul, who predominantly appears in Tamil and Kannada films, has also done a couple of Hindi movies, the most notable one being the 2013 release Yaariyan.
A source associated with the movie Aiyaary has been quoted as saying, “Rakul Preet plays an IT professional, who is Siddharth’s love interest in the film, which is based on real-life events while Sidharth plays an army officer. After a brief break following the Kashmir schedule, the team will resume filming in Delhi.”
Also starring seasoned actor Manoj Bajapayee in the lead role, Aiyaary is being directed by Neeraj Pandey . The film went on floors in May last month and the first shooting schedule of it was recently wrapped in Kashmir and now the entire crew will head to Delhi to shoot some important scenes of the film. According to reports, Rakul will be joining the team for the shoot in Delhi. After the Delhi schedule, some parts of the film will also be shot in Mumbai, London and Oman.
Presented by Reliance Entertainment and Plan C Studios, Aiyaary is a Friday Filmworks Productions project and is produced by Shital Bhatia. It will hit screens on January 26, 2018.
