Sathyaraj aka Kattappa to next do a supernatural thriller!

Today, Sathyaraj aka Kattappa is one of the fondest actors from the South film industry. Though he majorly worked as a supporting actor, he is now the household name in India and all thanks to the ‘Baahubali’ franchise. The 63-year-old actor has appeared in more than 200 films but got the nationwide recognition after doing the ‘Baahubali’ series and his character, ‘Kattappa’, became people’s favorite. After doing a number of action and drama, the veteran is all set to do a supernatural cum horror film. Known for mostly doing action films, Sathyaraj will now be seen in a horror flick by ‘Kallapadam’ fame Vadivel, and the film will set in an FM station background. Talking about this director Vadivel says, “I am a strong believer in apt casting. More than half my job is done after getting Sathyaraj sir. No one else can play this character better. This is a supernatural thriller that is set in an FM station background. The story is mainly about the paranormal activities that take place in an FM station in one night. To get the authenticity, we are looking to shoot the movie in a real FM station itself.”

Vadivel continued saying, “The story and treatment are going to be an entirely new experience for the Tamil cinema audience who have a special love for good horror movies. The other cast and crew are in the process of getting finalized. The details of them will be out very soon. I am very excited to bring this script onto the screen through the mighty Sathyaraj sir playing the lead.”

Apart from this, Sathyaraj has 2 more films (‘Party’ and ‘Madai Thiranthu’) to release in 2018 which are under process.
