The Jr. NTR starrer 'Jai Lava Kusa' takes the box office by storm!
Starring Jr. NTR, Telugu film Jai Lava Kusa has done phenomenal business on the day of release, shattering many box office records.

Jai Lava Kusa has been one of the most awaited Telugu films of the year. And when the movie finally hit screens on 21st September, the audience poured in cinema halls in droves, resulting in an outstanding response at the ticket window. In Telugu speaking areas, Jr. NTR starrer pulled in a whopping collection of Rs. 21.65 crores. The film did well in the state of Karnataka also and minted Rs. 3.83 crores on its opening day. From other territories in India, the movie made around Rs. 50 lakhs.
Not just in India, Jai Lava Kusa put up a great show in the international market also and earned Rs. 1.10 crores from there. The K. S. Ravindra directorial pocketed US 734,000 in the US as of the end of Friday. This figure comes after adding Wednesday's Premieres (USD 589,000) and Friday's collections (USD 144,000). If we add all earnings of the film together, the first-day collection of the movie stands at a stupendous Rs. 30.12 crores.
With this, Jay Lava Kusa becomes the second biggest grosser in the Telugu States. The movie is expected to shatter many more awards in coming days.
