Dalljiet Kaur signed to play Goddess Durga in an upcoming Big Magic show!
Popular television actress Dalljiet Kaur will soon be seen as Goddess Durga in Big Magic’s upcoming show, Maa Shakti.

Mythological shows are in trends on Indian television right now. Almost all Hindi general entertainment channels have one or two such shows airing on their primetime slot. Big Magic too is not far behind when it comes to entertaining the audience with mythological shows. According to reports, the channel is soon coming up with a new mythological show for which the makers have even roped in actress Dalljiet Kaur. Said to be based on Goddess Durga, the show has been titled Maa Shakti.
Confirming the news, Dalljiet shared, “This is my first mythological show and I am looking forward to it. The show is very promising and my character is challenging to play. It takes me three hours to get into the Maa Durga's look. I have come to Vadodara for a month to shoot. Since my son is alone I have brought him along with me to this new city that I have visited for the first time.”
Dalljiet Kaur was last seen in Zee TV's Kaala Teeka.
Maa Shakti, which is being produced by Sagar Pictures, will be a finite series with only 28 to 30 episodes. It will start airing from 21 September, Monday to Friday at 7 PM.
