Kanika Maheshwari quits ‘Tu Sooraj, Main Saanjh Piyaji’!
Kanika Maheshwari aka Meenakshi Rathi of ‘Tu Sooraj, Main Saanjh Piyaji’ fame has quit the show.

Kanika Maheshwari, the talented actress who plays Meenakshi Rathi in the show ‘Tu Sooraj, Main Saanjh Piyaji’, has reportedly left the show. The show, which airs on Star Plus and is produced by Shashi Sumeet Mittal Productions, is the second installment of the highly popular show, ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’. Kanika was in the show from the very first episode of the first season. She took the decision due to moving on.
When asked Kanika, she said to an online portal, “I have already ended my part. My character will not die but will end in the scheme of things. I had a wonderful journey with the show. Wish everyone great success.”
Kanika is no new to the industry and has been part of the small screen for more than a decade now as the talented actress has appeared in around 20+ shows on television.
Though she was part of the series since 2011, we guess she has made her mind to not return to the show. We wish her luck for the future and hope to see her soon.
