Porus: A story of the defender who stopped Alexander The Great!

Over the evolution course of Indian Television, it is parted into many subsection of its viewers. Some like drama, comedy, horror and some talent-based entertainment shows! And in such classes, there are also some viewers who love historical period drama and wouldn’t mind delving into mythological drama. And the newest addition to such genre, Sony TV will be coming up with a brand new show, Porus, which will be new turn in the genre of fiction fantasy drama! And considering its first look trailer video, it looks much promising!

The story of Porus is set around 350 BC, when India was at the most high. And hence pre-time India was bound to be a target to many conquerors. And one such conquerors was Alexander-The Great, set his eyes on India and it was Porus who stopped Alexander from entering India. It is impressive to see makers dig well into Indian history and came up with a relatively untold story from the pages of Battle of the Hydaspes to bring story of India’s first defender.

It is also good attempt as Indian television finally decided to venture out of typical mythological dramas and investing their creative efforts on such unique stories!
