Paperback Films' TV show Meri Durga is all set to witness a generation leap. The show, which premiered on 26th January 2017 on Star Plus, introduced the child artist Ananya Agarwal as the female protagonist Durga. Now since Meri Durga is going to take a leap, a whole set of new actors will be introduced in the show to take the story forward.
Recently, reports were doing the rounds that actress Alisha Panwar has been locked to play Durga's character post leap. However, due to some reasons, the actress decided to opt of the show, leaving the makers in a fix. Now the news is coming in that the makers have zeroed in on another actress to play the female lead in the show.
Yes, the new actress who will step into the character of young Durga in the show Meri Durga is Shrishti Jain. Shrishti has previously appeared in a couple of shows, but she is fondly remembered for the role of Krishna in Suhani Si Ek Ladki which aired on Star Plus. The actress confirmed the news to a portal, saying, "Yes, I am playing Durga post leap."
