Sudha Chandran joins the cast of ‘Karamphal Data Shani’; excited for her first mythological show!
After Naagin 2, seasoned actress Sudha Chandran will play Simhika, the daughter of Hiranyakashyapu and mother of Rahu and Ketu, in Colors’ show Karamphal Data Shani.

The veteran actress, Sudha Chandran , has played various characters on the small screen since she made her debut on television. With every new show of her, she has ensured that she offers something new to the audience. After impressing the audience with her last two shows Naagin 2 and Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil, the talented actress is now coming back to entertain her fans with Colors’ show Karamphal Data Shani.
The mythological show, Karamphal Data Shani, is one of the top rated shows on Colors. And now the makers have roped in Sudha Chandran to play the role of Simhika who is the daughter of Hiranyakashyapu and mother of Rahu and Ketu. Simhika is also known as the mother of nagas.
Sudha Chandran is quite excited about being a part of the show as Karamphal Data Shani will be her first mythological show. Confirming the news, she says “Yes, I am entering (Karamphal Data) Shani. I was chilling out with family when I got this offer. Guess work can never keep away from Sudha Chandran. As for me, my work is my oxygen (smiles). Also, this is my first mythological character in all the years of my working career. I really don’t know why such roles eluded me till now. I am happy to do a mythological show now.”
