Famous Tamil director Parthiban shocked everyone at the song launch event of his upcoming film Iravin Nizhal. Reportedly, Parthiban threw his microphone at the audience. After understanding his mistake later, the director apologized to the audience and the press.
The incident took place at Chennai where Parthiban and A R Rahman attended the event. Apparently Robo Shankar asked the director to pass the microphone while the duo of having conversation. Parthiban then got angry at him and said, "You should have asked this before," as he threw the mic.
He further mentioned that he is just pressurized and not having enough sleep which made him lose his calm.
Iravin Nizhal is an unique kind of film as it is the first non-linear single-shot film. The ensemble cast includes Parthiban, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Anandha Krishnan and Brigida Saga in key roles. It will be screened at the Cannes Film Festival and is expected to release in the Summer of 2022.
