Many Bollywood celebs have given a shout-out to the Women's U-19 team for their first cricket world cup trophy on Sunday. The stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Kajol to, Farhan Akhtar, Ananya Panday and others have congratulated the women's team for their win. Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu earlier worked in the Indian women cricketer biopic on Mithali Raj, Shabaash Mithu. She took to her Instagram Stories to shout out for the winning squad. She shared a few pictures of the cricket team and wrote, "The smiles on the faces of these young girls are priceless. Congratulations Champions. Let's remember these faces. We won our first World Cup in women's history today. And happy birthday, captain Shefali Verma. You finally got the well-deserved gift.
