Saif Ali Khan reveals how he managed to stay relevant in films after 30 years; owes his superb looks to Sharmila Tagore

Saif Ali Khan is one of the most versatile actors of all time. He made his Bollywood debut with the 1993 film, Parampara and went on to star in a number of hits including Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003), Hum Tum (2004), Dil Chahta Hai (2001) and many more. He also took his acting skills a notch higher with every performance. The Nawab of Pataudi is all set to complete 30 years in Bollywood, and he recently opened up about still being relevant in the industry.
In a recent interview, Saif stated that nothing about his career was planned and that it is mostly because of his approach that he has remained relevant. He said, “I treat what I do with a lot of excitement and newness. I’m excited to be in the job and I love doing it. And I’m more excited about tomorrow than ever! I think that helps. Somewhere, you have got to be excited about what you’re doing.”
He also linked his good looks to his mother, actress Sharmila Tagore, and added that it is a combination of that and a healthy view on life. "It starts with the thinking and then you are lucky that people treat you as relevant," said the actor.
On the work front, Saif Ali Khan will be next seen in Adipurush and Vikram Vedha.
