The intimate bond between Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan, who are a father and son, was evident in Big B's latest post for his son. As his wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan gets ready to make her big-screen comeback with Ponniyin Selvan - Part 1, Abhishek has been supporting her from the sidelines.
Amitabh Bachchan posted two identical photos of him and Abhishek on his Instagram. The father-and-son can be seen standing on cars surrounded by people in the actor's collage of images. The Jhund actor captioned, "You are Abhishek .. the truest uttaraadhikaari .. my pride, my ultimate joy ..”
Not only did Amitabh Bachchan praise his son, but he also gave a shout out to his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who would portray the Pazhuvoor Nandini in Mani Ratnam's upcoming movie. A first teaser was revealed recently following her first-look revelation from the movie. Amitabh shared the teaser on his Instagram story and captioned it, “The Cholas Are Coming! #PS1 . . #PS1 releasing in theatres on 30th September in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada!”
Meanwhile, Amitabh will next feature in Brahmastra featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Nagarjun in pivotal roles. He also has many other projects in his pipeline which include Nag Ashwin’s Project K and Goodbye.
