The talented actor can be currently seen in the recently released film, Samrat Prithviraj (2022), in which he essayed the role of Chand Bardai. Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar also star in the historical war drama. Despite a strong star cast, the film has failed to attract viewers to theaters. It is performing poorly at the box office.
Sonu shared his opinions on why the film failed to meet the expectations of the audience at the box office in a recent interview. He went on to say that the film was "really special." He also stated that he was given the opportunity to play a fantastic character and that he was showered with love.
