Ananya Pandey, Janhvi Kapoor & Sara Ali Khan to make cameos in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani?

Six years after Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, filmmaker Karan Johar is set to present his next titled Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The romantic drama stars Gully Boy (2019) pair Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in lead roles, with veteran actors Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan, and Dharmendra playing other pivotal roles.

While fans are super thrilled to watch Alia and Ranveer reunite onscreen after Gully Boy, there's another update that has only elevated the excitement levels.

As per the latest updates, Gen Y stars Ananya Pandey, Janhvi Kapoor, and Sara Ali Khan will be making guest appearances in the film. Reports state that the trio will feature in a special song in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. However, it is not known if Ranveer and Alia would also feature alongside them in the peppy number.

Furthermore, there are also claims about the three actresses featuring in some scenes as well. However, the makers are yet to confirm any of the updates.

Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is directed by Karan Johar and produced by Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios. Shooting for the project commenced in August 2021 in Mumbai, after which a song featuring Singh and Bhatt was filmed in Moscow, Russia in September 2021. In October 2021, the second schedule of the film commenced in Delhi. The third schedule began in April 2022 in Mumbai and Delhi.

Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi joined the cast in July 2021. Interestingly, this film will mark the onscreen reunion of Dharmendra and Jaya Bachchan after 48 years, having last worked together in Sholay (1975).

Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is scheduled for theatrical release on 10 February, 2023.
