Anushka Sharma pays tribute to her mother on Mother's Day; shares a photo with her daughter Vamika
Anushka Sharma greeted her mother Ashima Sharma on Mother's Day by posting a rare photo of her daughter Vamika on Instagram.

Celebrities are honouring their mothers on Mother's Day with sweet photos which have swept our social media timeline. Anushka Sharma, who also happens to be Vamika's mother, is one of them. While Vamika is still too small to express her love for her mother, the PK (2014) actress paid tribute to her mother.
Anushka shared two photos on her Instagram page. The first one showed her hovering over an infant Vamika, holding her hand, as her mother stood behind her. Anushka, who welcomed Vamika with her husband Virat Kohli in January last year, used a butterfly sticker to hide the baby's face. Dude, Anushka's pet dog, was napping on Ashima's lap in the second photo.
Anushka penned a heartfelt note for her mother in the caption. It read, "Happy Mother’s Day Maa (red heart emoji) Thank you for watching over me and being such a huge support for me especially in the last year and few months. Your will power and strength is phenomenal and you are so so loved by us all."
Anushka shared a rare sight of Vamika, as the star has chosen to keep her kid out of the spotlight. She had also asked that paparazzi not photograph her daughter. However, while Anushka was watching the India-South Africa cricket series with Vamika in the stands in January of this year, a camera caught a glimpse of Vamika. The photographs went viral as the camera showed them for a few seconds before cutting to visuals from the pitch.
