Akshay Kumar to be back as Jagdishwar Mishra in Jolly LLB 3; filming to commence in 2023
According to reports, Akshay Kumar has been cast in Jolly LLB 3, and the actor will start shooting the film in early 2023.

In 2017, Subhash Kapoor wrote and directed the black comedy movie Jolly LLB 2 (2017). A spiritual sequel to the Arshad Warsi and Saurabh Shukla-starring Jolly LLB from 2013 was the Akshay Kumar and Huma Qureshi film. Jolly LLB was a sleeper hit, but Jolly LLB 2 was a commercial and critical success thanks to its complex writing and acting. After Jolly LLB 2's release five years ago, Akshay Kumar is now prepared to reprise his role as Jagdishwar Mishra, also known as Jolly, in the sequel.
A report claims that Subhash Kapoor will direct the movie, while Star Studios will provide financial backing. In terms of production value, the third installment of the courtroom drama series is predicted to surpass its predecessors. A source close to the development reported, “Akshay, Subhash Kapoor and Star Studios have been discussing the idea of taking the Jolly LLB franchise forward. The third part will be bigger and better than the earlier two. Await big surprises from the team on this project.”
“The writing is more or less locked and the team will soon move onto locking the other cast members followed by a prolonged recce. The idea is to take the film on floors by early 2023 and get it ready for a late 2023 release. The idea cracked by Subhash Kapoor for the third instalment has got everyone excited,” the source added further.
The film is expected to go on floors in 2023.
