Ayan Mukherji says that he would take Virat Kohli if he has to make a movie on cricketers life

Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji, is set to be released in a few months. His passion project, which has been in the works for nearly a decade, will be released in September. The much-anticipated film's promotions have yet to begin, but the filmmaker and male lead Ranbir Kapoor recently attended a cricket event together.
The duo was asked several questions during the live stream. One such question was posed to Ayan, who was asked hypothetically about his top pick for casting a cricketer in Brahmastra. Ayan responded to Virat Kohli without hesitation. Explicitly stating why he prefers the Indian captain. He said “All my answers related to cricket are always about Virat Kohli. Brahmastra needs a true superstar spirit, so I would cast Virat Kohli.”
Aside from casting decisions, the two also discussed their love of sports. Reminiscing about his days playing football with MS Dhoni, Ranbir Kapoor said, “I have learned so much from MS Dhoni during a football game. I have had the good fortune of playing a couple of matches with the entire Indian cricket team and they are such good football players. MS Dhoni is a genius.”
He further added, “I appreciate his mentality, demeanor, and humility. When you talk to him, he is always listening to you and he will never speak extra. He is really a great guy.”
Ayan’s Brahmastra is releasing in theatres on 9th September starring Ranbir Kapoor, Mouni Roy, Alia Bhatt, and Amitabh Bachchan.
