Yesterday was a day when the whole of India was just glued to their TV screens to watch the biggest and most awaited match of cricket which is between India and Pakistan. Not only citizens but actors were also cheering for Team India. Vijay Deverakonda, traveled all the way to Dubai to see the Asia Cup match between Pakistan and India. The actor was heard discussing his expectations for the game while promoting his freshly released sports drama. He said, “I am very high on energy. I am hopeful that Kohli will hit at least a 50 today. Once he gets over 20, he can cross the mark. It's his 100th match and I can't wait to see it.” Even though Virat didn’t hit a 50 but he played well.

Meanwhile, Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday also celebrated Team India's victory in a special way. For the unversed, Ayushmann and Ananya have collaborated on Dream Girl 2, their first project together. In Mathura, filming for the movie has begun. Like any other citizen, they posted about their enthusiasm on social media and uploaded a fun reel after the India vs. Pakistan match result was revealed. Along with the reel, their caption read, "Jeet gaya India!!!!"
For his most recent release, Liger, Vijay was able to generate attention. The actor and Ananya Panday, who played his co-star, toured the nation to promote their movie. The highly anticipated film, despite it earning mixed reviews from both the general public and reviewers, failed to impress the audience as a whole.
Apart from Dream Girl 2, Ananya will also star in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav. On the other hand, Vijay will be seen opposite Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the film Kushi which is slated to release this year.
