Preity Zinta set to play a Kashmiri mother in her next; filming to begin next year
The actress was last seen in Bhaiaji Superhit (2018), alongside Sunny Deol. The film failed to click with the audience.

Bollywood actress Preity Zinta, whose filmography includes such all-time blockbusters as Koi Mil Gaya (2003), Kal Ho Na Ho (2003), and Veer-Zaara (2004), recently welcomed twins through surrogacy. The actress and her husband Gene Goodenough took to Instagram to share the good news with the world. The couple also revealed the names of their twins – Jai and Gia.

Zinta is presently busy learning to navigate her newfound motherhood. But if fresh reports are to be believed, she is also planning to revive her acting career and has signed a few films lately. In the latest film that she has greenlighted, she will reportedly play a Kashmir mother. Yes, you read that absolutely right!
A leading publication reports that the role Zinta is set to portray in the untitled film is a strong one. “The shooting of the film will take place during the first quarter of 2022, but pre-production of the film has already begun and additional casting is also underway,” a source in the know informs the publication.
The source goes on to add, “Preity is open to taking up more projects. In fact, she already has 2-3 films in the pipeline and is looking forward to signing more projects.”
There is no denying the fact that the actress will be taking some time to get settled into motherhood for the next few months. But the fact that she has started taking up acting assignments will definitely make her fans happy.
