Govinda Naam Mera rescheduled to avoid clash with Prithviraj on June 10th
Prithviraj, starring Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar, has faced several delays in the past.

Prithviraj is one of the most-awaited films of 2022. Starring Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar in lead roles, the film is scheduled to release on June 10, 2022. It also stars Sonu Sood as Chand Vardai and Sanjay Dutt as Kaka Kanha, Prithviraj Chauhan’s faithful saamant.
Sharing the release date, Akshay Kumar wrote on social media, “Parakram mein Arjun, pratiksha mein bhishma, aise mahaan samrat Prithviraj Chauhan ki bhumika karna ka saubhagya jevan mein kabhi kabhi milta hai. A role of a lifetime. Samrat #Prithviraj Chauhan arriving in cinemas on 10th June in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu.”
Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, who directed the biggest television epic Chanakya, has directed the film. It is based on the life of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan.
Prithviraj was earlier set to clash with Dharma Productions’ Govinda Mera Naam, starring Bhumi Pednekar, Kiara Advani, and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles. But the latest we hear is that the makers of the latter have decided to reschedule their film, so that there is no box-office clash between both the films.
