Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot on the 14th of April in an intimate fairy-tale wedding after dating for five years. Two months after tying the knot, the couple is now set to welcome their first child. Taking to Instagram, Alia Bhatt shared the good news with her fans.
The Student Of The Year (2012) actress announced her pregnancy by posting a picture of her ultrasound. Alia can be seen laying on the hospital bed with Ranbir sitting beside her, the couple looking at the screen happily. Alia captioned the picture, "Our baby…. coming soon."
Although the news surprised many, it now appears that Ranbir made a baby-related hint during his recent Shamshera promotions. When asked how much more work he would have to do after getting married, he responded that he would have to start a family and do a lot more work.
Both Alia and Ranbir have multiple impending projects on the work front. Ranbir Kapoor will be next seen in Shamshera. He also has Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra releasing in September this year. He will be seen sharing the screen space with wife Alia Bhatt for the first time in the film. Additionally, the actor just wrapped up filming on Luv Ranjan's upcoming, untitled, film.
Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt is currently shooting for her debut Hollywood project, Heart Of Stone. The film also stars Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan in crucial roles.
