John Abraham receives a staggering ₹21 crore for Ek Villain Returns
John Abraham is constantly increasing his acting fees. It has gone up to three times in three years.

John Abraham has raised his fees considerably following the success of Satyameva Jayate (2018) and The Batla House (2019). The star is currently shooting for Yash Raj Films’ Pathan alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone and will also release his two upcoming films, Attack and Ek Villain Returns, this year.
Abraham initially charged ₹7 crore for his films. Later, he kept on increasing his fees over the years. He charged ₹20 crores for Pathan and now he will receive around ₹21 crores for Ek Villain Returns.
Speaking about his hike in his acting fees over the past few years, a source said, “His market rate has been on an upward swing, the amount paid for Batla House was more than Satyameva Jayate, the amount he got for SMJ 2 was more than Batla House, the amount he got for Pathan was more than SMJ 2 and finally, his fees for Ek Villain Returns are higher than Pathan." Over the last 3 years, John's acting fees have jumped from ₹7 crores to ₹21 crores.”
Ek Villain Returns is gearing up for a July 2022 release, on the occasion of Bakri Eid. The movie stars him along with Arjun Kapoor and Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria as the female leads. It's directed by Mohit Suri and is a sequel to his own hit, Ek Villain (2014) that featured Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh and Shraddha Kapoor. The shoot has been wrapped up and the movie is in the post production stage at the moment.
