Shah Rukh Khan opened up about his massive comeback with Pathaan and hinted at a sequel.

Shah Rukh Khan divulges details about Pathaan sequel

Starting with Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to give his fans a triple treat of entertainment next year. The Pathaan team released a static and motion poster for the actor's next spy thriller to honour the actor's milestone of 30 years in Bollywood on Saturday. On the same day, Khan also held his first Instagram live.

During the 30-minute live session, Shah Rukh Khan listed a number of updates and insights into both his personal and professional lives. According to the actor, Pathaan's filming is completed, and the project is now in the post-production phase. He further said that Pathaan might become a franchise if the audience enjoys it. SRK said, "I hope you guys like the film, we all have worked and are working really hard on it. If you guys love Pathaan, there will be Pathaan 2 too perhaps."

The Happy New Year (2014) actor continued by saying that he has always wished to appear in a film like Pathaan.

Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham star as the main leads in Pathaan. The film is said to be a high-octane action drama. As RAW agent Tiger, Salman Khan will also make a brief cameo appearance in the film. On the contrary, SRK will make a cameo in Tiger 3 as Pathaan. This crossover will be the start of YRF's building of the spy verse.

Pathaan is set to release on January 25, 2023.
