Everyone is talking about the movie, 'The Kerala Story.' The creators conducted a press conference recently and discussed a number of concerns. One of them was the fact that they had come under fire for claiming that 32,000 teenage girls had supposedly been recruited by terrorist groups to either work as sex slaves or as suicide bombers. As a result, many people criticised the movie as being propaganda- and Islamophobic-based. Sudipto Sen has claimed that Kerala's northern region is infested with anti-social elements.

The filmmaker Sudipto Sen revealed, "Two Keralas exist inside Kerala - one which is like a picture, postcard, backwaters, beautiful landscape, Kalaripayattu, dance, martial arts. As far as we are aware, West Bengal does not have access to the film. According to the director, banning the movie in this way is improper. He claimed that since the film deals with terrorism, it ought to be screened in every state to raise awareness. The film's leading woman is Adah Sharma. She asserted that such a prohibition is improper. According to the producer Vipul Shah, they have spoken to numerous women who have described the hardships of being indoctrinated and taken to such camps where they are used as sex slaves or used to breed future terrorists. They stated that they want state governments to make sure that such women receive justice. Along with 'The Kashmir Files,' 'The Kerala Story' has been one of the most divisive films in recent memory.
